Month In Review: December

Hello again, everyone! December has been yet another eventful month for us here at RotaractArts. Here’s a small glimpse into our endeavours during the month of joy and cheer! Athwal ‘Athwal’, chaired by Rtr. Tharushika Peelikumbura, is arguably one of the most significant Community Service initiatives done by the Rotaract Club of University of Colombo, Faculty of Arts. A project that started back in August finally came to a close on the 16th of December. This effort saw a donation of 95 packs of dry rations to the students and teachers of Batawela Kanishta Vidyala in Padukka; a school that houses 83 students ranging from grades 1 to 5, most of them facing severe financial difficulties. Month In Review: November

Welcome to this month’s Month In Review! The month of November proved to be a relatively slow month for RotaractArts as our undergraduates were busy preparing for other projects outside the world of Rotaract (their end semester examinations, of course!). Nevertheless, here’s our monthly round up of the important projects that came into fruition during the month of November. Enigma Phase I The Editorial’s first project ‘Enigma’, a project that started in October which focused on shedding light upon unsolved mysteries across the globe, continued well into November. Hello again, everyone!  You might want to strap in as we have quite a chunky Month-In-Review for you all this time around as our Rotaractors have been keeping themselves quite busy (those projects aren’t gonna complete themselves now, are they?). Join us as we go over our efforts during the month of October. The Bare Niceties Bare Niceties, a project headed by the Professional Development Avenue, is an ongoing initiative of the Rotaract Club of Faculty of Arts of University of Colombo. Here’s a brief overview of the club’s completed projects for the month followed by a tease of our ongoing projects.
