Month in Review (September 2026)

September has been a busy month for the Rotaract Club of University of Colombo, Faculty of Arts. Although there were no projects launched during the month itself, our calendar was filled with other activities such as the calling for applicants to join the Organising Committee of the project RotaVentures to Galle. Additionally, members from our club also took part in District events such as the Official Visit by the District Governor, the District Council Meeting for the month of September, as well as many Installation Ceremonies organised by the Rotaract Clubs of University of Colombo, Faculty of Law, University of Kelaniya, Cinnamon Gardens, Mathale, and Kandy Metropolitan. Meanwhile, our Rotaractors also took part in events such as the Zero Plastics Trail and the 9th Installation Ceremony of the Leo Club of University of Colombo, Faculty of Arts.

කොළඹ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ කලා පීඨයේ රොටරැක්ට් සමාජයට (Rotaract Club) සැප්තැම්බර් මාසය කාර්යබහුල මාසයක් විය. එම මාසය තුළ නව ව්‍යාපෘති කිසිවක් ආරම්භ නොකළද, ‘RotaVentures to Galle’ ව්‍යාපෘතියේ සංවිධායක කමිටුවට එක්වීම සඳහා අයදුම්පත් කැඳවීම වැනි වෙනත් ක්‍රියාකාරකම් රැසකින් අපගේ කාලසටහන පිරී පැවතුණි. මීට අමතරව, දිස්ත්‍රික් ආණ්ඩුකාරවරයාගේ නිල සංචාරය සහ සැප්තැම්බර් මාසයේ පැවති දිස්ත්‍රික් කවුන්සිල රැස්වීම වැනි දිස්ත්‍රික් මට්ටමේ වැඩසටහන් සඳහා ද අපගේ සමාජයේ සාමාජිකයෝ සහභාගී වූහ. එසේම, කොළඹ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ නීති පීඨය, කැලණිය විශ්වවිද්‍යාලය, සිනමන් ගාර්ඩන්ස් (Cinnamon Gardens), මාතලේ සහ මහනුවර මහනගර (Kandy Metropolitan) යන රොටරැක්ට් සමාජ විසින් සංවිධානය කරන ලද ස්ථාපන උළෙල් රැසකට ද ඔවුහු සහභාගී වූහ. මේ අතරතුර, ‘Zero Plastics Trail’ වැඩසටහන සහ කොළඹ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ කලා පීඨයේ ලියෝ සමාජයේ 9 වන නව නිලධාරී මණ්ඩල පත්වීමේ උත්සවය වැනි වැඩසටහන් සඳහා ද අපගේ රොටරැක්ට් සාමාජිකයෝ සිය දායකත්වය ලබා දුන්හ.

கொழும்புப் பல்கலைக்கழக கலைப் பீடத்தின் ரோட்டராக்ட் கழகத்தின் செப்டம்பர் மாதம் மிகவும் பரபரப்பான மாதமாக இருந்தது. அந்த மாதத்தில் எந்தவொரு திட்டமும் தொடங்கப்படவில்லை என்றாலும், ‘RotaVentures to Galle’ திட்டத்தின் ஏற்பாட்டுக் குழுவில் இணைவதற்கான விண்ணப்பங்களை கோருவது போன்ற பிற செயல்பாடுகளால் எங்களது நாட்காட்டி நிரம்பியிருந்தது. ​கூடுதலாக, மாவட்ட ஆளுநரின் அதிகாரப்பூர்வ வருகை, செப்டம்பர் மாதத்திற்கான மாவட்டக் மன்றக் கூட்டம் போன்ற மாவட்ட நிகழ்வுகளிலும், கொழும்புப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் சட்டப் பீடம், களனிப் பல்கலைக்கழகம், சினமன் கார்டன்ஸ் (Cinnamon Gardens), மாத்தளை மற்றும் கண்டி மெட்ரோபொலிட்டன் ஆகிய ரோட்டராக்ட் கழகங்களால் ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்ட பல பதவியேற்பு விழாக்களிலும் எங்களது கழக உறுப்பினர்கள் கலந்துகொண்டனர். இதற்கிடையில், ‘ஜீரோ பிளாஸ்டிக்ஸ் டிரெயில்’ (Zero Plastics Trail) மற்றும் கொழும்புப் பல்கலைக்கழக கலைப் பீடத்தின் லியோ கழகத்தின் 9வது பதவியேற்பு விழா போன்ற நிகழ்வுகளிலும் எங்களது ரோட்டராக்டர்கள் பங்கேற்றனர்.
