The story that never ends…

Say you remember,
The days of youth we yet so oddly treasure,
The days on this sandy coast we used to play in leisure,
To the magic kingdom of sea,
we promised to lead each other,
Searching for hidden mysteries and bountiful treasure.
Hidden beneath the silver linings
of water,
Reside the friends & foes alike.
And we thought of conquering the city of Mermen,
And rule through day & night.
We were so young when our heart yearned to dance so freely,
On the soft sand white and silky.
The day we found stars on bare land,
Under the red sun and shiny,
believed I saw the vast ocean in your eyes blue and glassy.
Following the path we once threaded
under the evening sun rays,
Hand in hand, leaving nothing but our heart’s trails,
And if that one day may yet arrive to continue our tale of happy days,
For you know my dear the sea has no story that ends.
