BY Rtr. Raviduni Perera The project “Happy Hour" was a meaningful and uplifting project organized by the Community Service avenue of Rotaract Club of University of Colombo, Faculty of Arts. The main event was held on 1st of August, 2026 at the Challenged Children’s Aid Association in Kotte and the initiative aimed to bring joy, companionship and support to 22 children with disabilities. Featuring interactive activities, a tea party with the children and a distribution of souvenirs and educational supplies, not only did “Happy Hour” make itself a memorable afternoon for the children, but it also fostered a sense of compassion, inclusion and community service among the university student volunteers.
