Sasna The International Day of Peace, observed on 21 September, provides an opportunity to reflect on the importance of peace in our communities and the responsibility each of us has in creating a more harmonious world. The 2026 theme, “Invest in Peace – For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day,” highlights the importance of making peace a continuous commitment rather than something we think about only during times of conflict. Peace begins with small actions. Listening to others, respecting different opinions, helping those in need, rejecting discrimination, resolving disagreements through dialogue and supporting our communities are all meaningful ways of contributing to peace.
