Month in Review: June
The year has finally come to a close, and with it, we submit to you the final Month in Review for this Rotaract Year. It has been a rollercoaster ride covering all the events of the club (which were too many to count) and having fun publishing in all three languages i.e., English, Sinhala, and Tamil. As we bid farewell to this series for the RI year 2022-23, as Co-Editors we are ever so proud of the enthusiasm, support, diversity, and quality of the work produced by the Executive Committee and Board of Directors and most importantly (in this instance) that of the two Month in Review (MIR) teams!
This is a very brief edition and without further ado, let’s dive into the last MIR of the RotaractArts RI year 2022-23.

The month of June has been more of a transitioning period, and while most avenues have already completed and wrapped up their projects, our Community Service Avenue was still at work.
They successfully completed their last project ‘Mind First’ which was originally intended to be an awareness program on brain tumors but ended up being an awareness project on the importance of maintaining good mental health (a win either way!). They collected testimonials from Rotaractors as well as non-Rotaractors on how they got through stressful situations. They spoke of their problems and shared their experiences with us, which truly helped decrease feelings of stress and anxiety among others!
වර්ෂයේ අවසානය ළඟාවීමත් සමඟම අපගේ අවසාන මාසික සඟරාව අප මෙහිදී ඉදිරිපත් කර සිටිමු.
ජූනි මාසය වන විට බොහෝ අංශ වරෂයේ ව්යාපෘති සහ වෙනත් කටයුතු අවසාන කර සිටි නමුත්, සමාජ සංවර්ධන අංශය අවසානමොහොතේ දීත් සමාජයේ යහපත සඳහා වැඩ කටයුතු කරමින් සිටියහ.
මෙම අවසාන මාසයේ දී ඔවුන් ‘මයින්ඩ් ෆර්ස්ට්’ (Mind First) ව්යාපෘතිය සඳහා යෙදී සිටියේය. ආරම්භයේදී, මෙම ව්යාපෘතිය මොළයේ පිළිකාවන් පිළිබඳ දැනුවත් කිරීමේ වැඩ සටහනක් සුදානම් කිරීමට නියමිතව තිබි නමුත්, අවසානයේ එය මානසික සෞඛ්යය වැඩි දියුණු කිරීමේ ව්යාපෘතියකට වෙනස් කළහ. මෙහිදී රෝටරැක්ට් ශාස්ත්ර පීඨයේ සාමාජිකයන් සහ සමාජයෙන් පිට අය මුල්කොට ගෙන, ඔවුන් මුහුණ දුන් බාධා ජය ගත් ආකාරය පිළිබඳ කතාබහකනියැළුනි. එහි අරමුණ වූයේ ආතති සහගත තත්වයන් සමනය කිරීම සහ එම අවස්ථා වඩාත් සුදුසු ලෙස මුහුණ දීමට කටයුතු කිරීමයි.
ஆண்டு இறுதியாக நிறைவடைந்துவிட்டது, அதனுடன், இந்த ரோட்ராக்ட் ஆண்டிற்கான மதிப்பாய்வில் இறுதி மாதத்தை உங்களுக்குச் சமர்ப்பிக்கிறோம்.
ஜூன் மாதம் ஒரு மாற்றமான காலகட்டமாக உள்ளது, மேலும் பெரும்பாலான அவென்யூ ஏற்கனவே தங்கள் திட்டங்களை முடித்து முடித்துவிட்டாலும், எங்கள் சமூக சேவை அவென்யூ இன்னும் வேலையில் இருந்தது.
இந்த இறுதி மாதத்தில், கடைசித் திட்டமான ‘மைண்ட் ஃபர்ஸ்ட்’ – இது ஒரு விழிப்புணர்வு நிகழ்ச்சியை வெற்றிகரமாக முடித்தது, இது முதலில் மூளைக் கட்டிகள் பற்றிய ஒன்றாகத் தொடங்கியது, ஆனால் நல்ல மன ஆரோக்கியத்தை பராமரிப்பதன் முக்கியத்துவத்தை மையமாகக் கொண்ட ஒரு திட்டத்தை முடித்தது. ரோட்டராக்டர்கள் மற்றும் ரோட்டராக்டர்கள் அல்லாதவர்கள் இருவரும் மன அழுத்த சூழ்நிலைகளை எவ்வாறு சமாளித்தார்கள் என்பது குறித்து சமர்ப்பித்த சான்றுகளை இந்தத் திட்டம் ஆராய்ந்தது. பகிரப்பட்ட அனுபவத்தின் மூலம் சமூகத்தை உருவாக்கி அதன் மூலம் சமூகத்தில் உள்ள மற்றவர்களிடையே மன அழுத்த உணர்வுகளை தணிக்கும் நம்பிக்கையுடன் திட்டத்தின் பொது இயல்பு இருந்தது
