இலங்கையில் சமத்துவம் பேணப்படும் முறையினை சற்று ஆராய்வோம் இலங்கையானது பிரதானமாக 3 இனத்தவரை கொண்ட நாடு. இனத்துவ ரீதியாக பாகுபாடு காட்டப்படுவது நாம் அனைவரும் அறிந்த விடயம்.இந்த விடயம் பல நூற்றாண்டுகளாக கேள்விக்கு உட்படுவது வழமையான விடயமாகும். இது ஒரு புறம் இருக்க இலங்கையில் பல்வேறுபட்ட விடயங்களில் அனைத்து மக்களும் பாரபட்சத்துக்கு உள்ளாக்கப்படுகின்ற விடயங்கள் திரைக்கு பின்னால் மறைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. அடிப்படை விடயங்களில் இருந்து ஆடம்பர விடயங்கள் வரையில் அனைத்து மக்களும் சிறுவயதில் இருந்து முதிய வயதை அடையும் வரை இதன் தாக்கத்தை அனுபவிக்கின்றனர். பாடசாலையை எடுத்துக்கொள்வோம் இன்று இலங்கையில் எத்தனை பாடசாலைகள் இயங்குகின்றன எனினும் அவற்றில் கல்வி கற்கும் மாணவர்கள் எண்ணிக்கைகளை எடுத்து நோக்கும் போது ஒரு பிரதேசத்திலே காணப்படும் பாடசாலைகளாக இருந்தாலும் ஒரு பாடசாலை அளவுக்கு அதிகமான மாணவர்களையும் ஒரு பாடசாலை இழுத்து மூடப்படும் அளவிற்கு குறைவான மாணவர்களையும் ஆசிரியர்களையும் கொண்டு இயங்குகின்ற பொழுது மாணவர்களிடையே பாரபட்சம் ஏற்படுகிறது. இது தரம் குறைந்த பாடசாலை, இது தரம் கூடிய கல்வி என்ற ஏற்றத்தாழ்வு உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இது மட்டும் அன்றி எத்தனையோ பாடசாலைகளில் சில பாடங்களுக்கு ஆசிரியர் கூட இல்லை…
